Women helping women in a
confidential and safe
environment to connect,
collaborate and become catalysts
for positive change.

We are a diverse group of professional women looking to grow. We find strength collaborating... arming each other with greater confidence and greater knowledge to positively affect the industries we build. Three of us are better than one, and twelve of us are better than three... We are looking to expand our “Girls’ Club.”

“Joining the Women's Advisory Board is an honor, a privilege, and a commitment.” - Heather Donaho, Founder & CEO

Why WAB?

The Women's Advisory Board is a non-profit group, founded on the principle of "women helping women" in all areas of leadership. Members volunteer their time, talents, and expertise to advance the group's objectives and support each other professionally. All elected members uphold the highest level of ethical, moral, and professional conduct. They hold positions that command professional competency and possess intellectual property. The leadership skills of members include areas of executive management, entrepreneurship, and corporate leadership.

Setting Women Up for Success

How Do We Do It?

Business Curriculum Program: Your Platform for Growth- WAB’s BCP is developed to help women expand their minds, learn how to effectively solve problems, and become key solution strategists. Whether you are sharpening skills or mastering new ones, WAB meets you where you are.

Internship Program: WAB’s IP is a hands-on methodology for transitioning mid-level managers to executive roles through specific education and exposure. We offer a sneak peak into executive management styles and reporting structures. Are you ready to take the next rung?

Outreach Program: Giving back to the communities in which we thrive is essential. Needs evolve. WAB’s OP helps women actively focus on recognizing, designing and implementing appropriate programs to “Give Back to Memphis” (GBM). We volunteer when we can to positively impact the Memphis community.

“Being a ‘fixer’ who loves to help good people can be quite the challenge. I saw so many women who were not being given the opportunity to utilize their key strengths- women who were not experiencing the joy that accompanies love of job, love of career- nor the lasting confidence that comes with success- even just one. WAB is about giving women the best shot at success.” - Heather Donaho, Founder & President“Clarkson has helped accomplish over 200 of its partners’ major conservation goals. They inspire everyone to care for the planet.”
